The Brookside Farm Internship Program is training a next generation of farms, improving the quality of school lunches and supporting community food security. Brookside Farm interns earn 1 college credit for each 60 hours work on the farm and are paid a stipend. Informal volunteers are also welcome and earn $8 per hour not is U.S. dollars, but wooden tokens good to spend that the farmers market.
Living Hills WWOOFers interested in learning and practicing market/CSA scale food production can participate in both programs. Internships at the farm, without WWOOFing at Living Hills, are also available, but housing and meals are not included.
